Stage design for Kaskade’s 2019 REDUX show at the Brooklyn Mirage.
Taking inspiration from the origins of REDUX; underground, no frills clubs, we designed a minimal yet highly impactful set that slowly revealed itself throughout the show to build momentum and create a unique experience for everyone there.
Taking inspiration from the origins of REDUX; underground, no frills clubs, we designed a minimal yet highly impactful set that slowly revealed itself throughout the show to build momentum and create a unique experience for everyone there.
The main components of the design included a DJ booth with interior light features as well as two monolithic steel structures with hundreds of programmable LED tubes affixed to all parts of the structure.
These structures flanked Kaskade on either side of the DJ Booth creating a dramatic void behind Kaskade and were programmed to reveal themselves in time to the music and the arc of the show creating a discovery experience
for guests.
